How to change chat wallpaper on WhatsApp web

WhatsApp is one of the most widely used instant messaging apps and has almost 1.2 billion monthly active users globally. The instant messaging app provides users with the flexibility of sharing text, pictures, videos and files with their friends and family.

Earlier [ whats app ] launched  desktop version of whatsapp (app) popularly known as whatsApp web. 

WhatsApp web also have some special features one of which is changing the chat wallpaper

First things first:

• Active internet connection on both the devices android and pc
• You must be running the latest version of WhatsApp 
• WhatsApp web must be logged in into your computer

In case, you don’t know how to use WhatsApp on your computer, follow the steps:

• Open Google Chrome or any other browser and type ‘web.whatsapp.com’ in the address bar
• Now, open WhatsApp on your phone and tap on the three dots 
• Select the option ‘WhatsApp web’ and scan the QR code showing on the browser

Steps

1. Open WhatsApp web on your computer and log in by scanning the QR code

2. Click on the three dots from the right side of the profile picture

3. Head to the 'Settings' and click on the 'Wallpaper' option

4. Now, select the wallpaper of your choice and click on it

5. Then press 'Ok' to change the background
